May 14, 2020

The Projects and Engineering Agency at the General Presidency for the Affairs of Haram in Makkah and Masjid-un-Nabawi in Medina, Saudi Arabia has issued licenses for the remaining works of the third Saudi expansion of the Haram.

Saudi Press Agency reports the resumption of work includes the main gates, installation of artificial stone ceilings, completion of architectural arches overlooking the courtyard and other major renovations.

The agency discussed the plan, program of work and stages of implementing the remaining works after coordination and concerted efforts of the relevant authorities, while taking advantage of the significantly reduced number of pilgrims in the Holy Mosque.

It stressed the keenness of the government led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to complete projects related to all the Two Holy Mosques to provide all means of comfort to those who enter the Haram and to take the necessary preventive measures in cooperation with authorities.
